Privacy Policy

Disable AI Overview is designed to work locally in Chrome. It does not send search queries, results, or browsing history to us.

Data the extension uses

The extension reads the visible structure of supported Google Search pages to identify AI Overview panels and AI Mode tabs. It changes the display on your device. It does not transmit page content to a server.

Settings

Your enabled/disabled preferences are stored locally with Chrome's extension storage API. They are used only to apply your choices. The MVP has no account or cloud sync.

Data we collect

The extension has no analytics, advertising SDK, payment system, or remote code. It does not collect search terms or browsing history.

Website

This site does not ask for an account or store form submissions. Hosting infrastructure may process ordinary request data such as IP address and user agent to deliver the site and maintain security. We do not operate a website analytics tracker in this MVP.

Permissions

The extension requests Chrome storage permission for settings and runs content scripts only on listed Google Search domains. It does not request tabs, webRequest, or cookies access.
